Lean Six Sigma Upgrade to Black Belt

These eight days of training will consist of two, four-day training sessions spanning approximately two weeks.Participants will become technical experts for on-site implementation of Lean Six Sigma programs and leaders of major Black Belt-level project teams.

Enrollment includes the coveted Juran Black Belt certification, conditional on:

  • Satisfactory completion of the workshop
  • A passing score on the Black Belt upgrade examination
  • Satisfactory presentation and review of a successful and approved Black Belt project
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:
  • Learn the most effective means to support management in Lean Six Sigma in your enterprise or business unit.
  • Use diagnostic tools and techniques to prove root causes.
  • Design and control improvements to hold significant gains.
  • Achieve significant results that affect the bottom line.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Each Belt Candidate must bring to the workshop:

  • Juran approval to enroll—based on either completed Juran Green Belt Certification or other training supplemented with a passing score on the Juran Green Belt examination and interview by the instructor (call for details).
  • A management-approved project to work on during the workshop and beyond.
  • A laptop computer with Minitab® loaded and working.

  • Statistical Process Control for Special Cases—Short Runs, Process Shift, etc.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is intended for managerial level or technical specialists assigned full-time responsibility to implement Lean Six Sigma and multi-functional improvement projects within an enterprise or business unit, or to lead major, challenging Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
