Juran Healthcare Senior Consultant Published In Well-Known Healthcare Magazine
Juran Healthcare Senior Consultant, Brian Stockhoff, Ph.D., was recently published in the July/August issue of Patient Safety & Quality Healthcare, a magazine that covers a broad range of safety and quality topics.
Stockhoff’s article, “Tests of Change: Simulated Design of Experiments (DOE) in Healthcare Delivery,” concludes simulation and DOE provides a powerful approach to the design, testing and improvement of hospital processes. He outlines several steps for a simulated DOE which, if followed, can provide solutions to problems in staffing, hospital bed allocation and Emergency Department flow.
Stockhoff is a Six Sigma Black Belt and Senior Consultant with Juran. He has over 16 years of experience working across a broad range of operations in both small and large company settings, including service, manufacturing and healthcare organizations. He received two bachelor degrees from Pennsylvania State University, an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Michigan.
