Juran Client Nominated For Workplace Excellence Award
Alta Resources Corporation, a private, business services company and Juran Institute client, was recently nominated for the New North Workplace Excellence Award for its success in implementing Six Sigma to revamp its onboarding process.
“It was clear that the onboarding process needed a complete overhaul,” said Laurie Butz, Alta’s Human Resources Vice President and leader of the Six Sigma Onboarding Team. “Not only that, but the calls from unhappy hiring managers were coming in continuously.”
After implementing Six Sigma, Alta reduced turnover and recruiting costs by over 30%.
