COPY EDITOR:
The Copy Editor is responsible for the creation and editing of all materials associated with Juran’s programs developed on behalf of our clients, as well as our own corporate Marketing materials designed to promote our capabilities and services.
Principle Responsibilities:
The Copy Editor reviews, tailors or creates copy for program materials, including slide presentations, collateral, websites and reports prior to client submission. Working closely with the product development team, the Copy Editor will ensure that all materials present effective and engaging content with correct spelling and grammar, as well as compliance with established style guidelines, formats and templates. In addition, the copy editor will support Juran’s internal marketing, professional services, sales and graphic design staff in preparing or reviewing marketing promotional materials to be sure the copy is clear, persuasive and effective.
To be seriously considered, a candidate must have: Bachelor’s degree in English or Journalism or equivalent education and/or experience, with 3 years of professional experience as a copy editor for a marketing department or agency.
In addition the qualified candidate must possess proven strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Their past work must demonstrate a commitment to meeting deadlines and expectations and the ability to interact with multiple internal and external contacts efficiently and diplomatically.
