Processing Terminals
The Juran processing terminals benchmarking programme is a global event now in its 9th year. The program encompasses both oil and gas processing which are directly comparable through the normalisation of data using Juran Complexity Factors. The metrics model employed has been refined over the years and includes manpower and cost data for business overheads, safety and environment, operations and maintenance, addressing issues such as costs of planned (preventive) versus unplanned maintenance. Costs for contracted labour and services, as well as allocated costs, are included in addition to a company’s own staff costs. The model addresses all aspects of a terminal’s operation from inlet receivers and separators through gas sweetening and dew point control, fractionation, condensate stabilization, product storage and sales gas/liquid metering including all site utility operations and effluent treatment. |
