Pipelines

Our pipelines benchmarking program includes operators of pipelines from across the globe. Through the application of Juran’s Complexity Factors, we are able to provide direct comparisons of a diverse range of pipelines. Focusing on both offshore and onshore pipeline systems, the metrics model examines cost and manpower data for a wide range of business processes. These include business overheads, operations, maintenance, inspection, integrity, safety and environment, and reliability and availability, expressed in a number of ways including the cost per barrel mile. Activities addressed include intelligent pigging, ROV, corrosion monitoring, external inspection, and pumping/compressor station maintenance.
